When you walk into Tillamook Station for a Make & Mary event, you instantly notice the high, expansive ceilings, twinkling string lights, welcoming white tables, and, of course, the distinct aroma of some of the very best Mary Jane in the damn country.

Started by Tillamook Station owner Yvonne Perez Emerson—a long-time design powerhouse and arts advocate—in conjunction with Potency, this craft-meets-cannabis social gathering cultivates creativity and community in one beautiful, private space. Attendees must be 21+ years of age and get to partake in a unique project (like the making of a macrame plant hanger) while enjoying cannabis (as BYOC is encouraged).

The kickoff event was held Friday, May 20th and offered an inside look at TJ’s Organic Gardens cannabis and Cannavore edibles. A professional budtender was on standby to roll joints (including a truly original and exceptionally sizable tulip joint) and answer questions. Cannvore head chef Anthony Vespucci was also present, along with Travis MacKenzie and Jim Murphy, owners and head growers of TJ’s. Potency hosted a one-of-a-kind mocktail bar, featuring fresh fruit flavors to complement snack trays, cannabis confections and flowers.

The next event will be held on Thursday, June 30th from 6:00-9:00PM. Space is limited and tickets go on sale Friday, June 10th at makeandmary.comQuill is set to be the special guest for the evening, so it’s only natural the project focus will be all about creating leather pouches for the popular, artfully designed steel vaporizer pen. Check back for the release of the very first Make & Mary video, showcasing festivities from the past event.
